This Art Heals Free Circle
Sundays, 5-6:15 in Port Townsend
When you are in an art studio, you deserve to feel safe, inspired, connected, and confident. Though you may not be able to list the social conditions you need for this to be possible, you certainly know a good fit when you feel it. This circle is a little sample of what you can expect in This Art Heals gatherings, a vibe check of both process art and the kind of people who love it.
Each circle opens with a one song dance party and sharing circle (where you always have the option to simply listen!). I will give a super-brief intro to process-art basics, then you are free to paint, draw, collage and more! Absolutely no artistic experience needed. As everyone creates, I will offer you some personal support and encouragement, as well as a chance to ask me any questions you have about me, my offerings, or process art generally.
In-person circles take place at the Sacred Mess Refuge in Port Townsend. When you register you will get directions. All supplies provided.
If you are attending online, please have art supplies on hand when you come—all supplies welcome: visual arts, fiber art, anything thing that connects your heart, hands and senses!
